NBios and JCFTechnology, invested by Infobank iExccel were flnally selected for the TIPS program.

NBios is a bio healthcare startup that develops non-toxic therapeutics for cancer patients. Unlike existing chemical treatments, the development of new drugs using protein-targeted therapies has the advantage of having a longer "half-life" the time it takes for the therapeutic effect to be reduced by half, compared to other competing treatments. In addition, it is differentiated in that it can exhibit synergistic effects when used with other substances such as natural products, existing anticancer drugs, and immunotherapy drugs. The NBios team plans to develop cancer treatment technology to overcome anticancer and anticancer drug resistance that does not damage normal cells through this TIPS fund.

JCFTechnology is a startup company that independently developed a radar sensor that measures vital signs in a non-contact manner. This technology has been difficult to find commercial success cases in the global market, and JCFTechnology developed a highly accurate non-contact multi-biometric radar sensor through years of technology accumulation and succeeded in commercializing the product for the first time in the world in 2021. Currently, it is being supplied to a number of large-scale businesses as an emergency monitoring and biometric information provision product for the socially vulnerable, and plans to develop it into an integrated health management platform in the future. In addition, through TIPS program, the technology for acquiring and judging biometric information will be advanced to develop sleep status monitoring technology and a sleep health analysis platform for self-diagnosis.

The two companies selected for TIPS through the recommendation of Infobank, the operator and accelerator of TIPS, can each receive upto KRW 500 million in R&D funding for two years.

Hong Jong-cheol, CEO of Infobank iExcel, said, "Both teams are bio-startup companies with sufficient technology to lead the global market, and they are also in line with the 4th industrial sector that Infobank is investing heavily in. "We plan to provide close support from various angles so that both companies can establish themselves as major players in the market by supporting financing through the network and securing domestic and overseas markets for commercialization."
